Good preparation is half the battle

In June 2026, the temporary (emergency) bridge at the Aalsumerpoortsbrug in Dokkum was successfully installed!

After months of preparation, the plan has proven itself in practice. The two bridge sections, each 27 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, were hoisted into place safely and on schedule using the 450-ton crane. A great result of the collaboration between Janson Bridging BV and Van Spijker Infrabouw B.V. and all parties involved on and around the project.

An impressive piece of craftsmanship where technology, logistics, and teamwork came together perfectly. #Proud of everyone who contributed to this!
