Footbridge Uitwellingerga

The bridge on the Nije Dyk near Uitwellingerga was closed to all car and agricultural traffic on November 27, 2024. Only pedestrians and cyclists were allowed to cross. The 90-year-old bridge was in very poor condition and repair was no longer possible.

Janson Bridging was commissioned by the client to install a temporary bicycle bridge over the removed movable section, allowing cyclists and pedestrians to use the bridge again. We deployed our 15-meter JPB-P for this, equipped with a ramp on both sides. The bridge was delivered in one piece and hoisted into place and assembled on July 25.
